5 STEPS ON HOW TO CREATE THE PERFECT GLOSSY LIDS

The sudden transformation from glossy lips to glossy lids is definitely a topic of interest I am willing to dive into. We are all familiar with the popular glossy lips which has been a huge trend for ages and helps keeps our lips moisturized. But this time around it is different and new. Now we have glossy lids which i find fun and interesting.

Throw in little gloss on your eyelids and you are already rocking the glossy lids trend, very easy and cool.The new trend is wet,wild, glossy but yet easy to achieve. It is easy to create using an eyeshadow, then applying a clear balm or gloss on the top for that glossy finishing. Do not be boring with your makeup, mix colors, add shimmer and maybe even some gloss. 

  

Some of my favorite ways of rocking the glossy lid-

1. Apply a clear gloss on the eyes with bright pink on your lips

2. A rose gold tinted gloss on the eyes along with some Matt red lipstick 

3. A clear gloss on top of a bold eyeshadow (e.g lemon/orange) finished with a nude lip

It’s finally time for Matt shadows to rest, we can all agree that we have had enough of blending.

Here are the steps on how to create a perfect glossy lids 

1. Use a matte eyeshadow on your lid, not compulsory if you want a natural glossy lid look and if you as well wish to avoid shadow breaking and blending

2. Place the gloss directly and gently on your lid or Matt shadow to avoid making a mess.

3. If you wish to use an eyeliner, use one before placing the gloss on your lid so you don’t make a mess.

4. Finish up your look, apply foundation, mascara, Matt lipstick or gloss according to your preference and you are good to go.

5. You have created the perfect trendy glossy lids.
